Regional Park are set aside as open space and a natural pre- serve. Equestrians, mountain bikers and hikers can enjoy more than 15 miles of trails and fire roads that crisscross the park. The park has over 6,000 acres of open space land with trails open to hiking, biking, or horse riding. Rock climbing is featured near the dam. At the Ya' Heki' Regional Indian Museum visitors learn about the cultures of native tribes throughout the Southern California desert region.
