The Taste of Asia restaurant is a unique Asian restau-

rant in that the menu features exciting dishes from

Thailand, Vietnam, China, and even from Laos. The food

is very tasty and exciting. My favorites include the Egg

Flower Soup (the best I have ever had), the Spicy Garlic

Shrimp, the Taste of Asia Mussels, the Crispy Beef and

the Tropical Salmon. Another fantastic dish is the Laotian

Sausage featured lots of dense textured sliced home-

made sausage made with ground pork, lemon grass and

other seasonings and served with peanuts, cabbage,

chilies and fresh ginger on the side.You will love this dish

as well as all of the food at Taste of Asia restaurant.

The Thinnery is a small family owned bakery that special-
izes in low fat and sugar free deserts and offer the largest
selection of low fat and sugar free desserts in the United
States. Established in 1978, this is the ultimate bakery to
buy your low fat & sugar free pastries, cakes and pies from.

At any given time, you can expect to find 40 to 60 heav-
enly desserts daily, each lovingly prepared by owner Greg
Sambo. If you enjoy mousse filled tarts, horns, cream puffs,
or éclairs, you are in for a treat. If you like fruit flavored
filled pastries like figure 8's, turnovers and fruit tarts, you
can choose from such fruit fillings as apricot, raspberry,
blueberry, strawberry, lemon, pineapple, apple, cherry and
peach. The light puff pastry shells and the sweet fruity fill-
ings are really special. Speaking of special, The Thinnery
makes some fantastic mini Bundt cakes that are incredi-
ble. Other delights that you must try are there popular sig-
nature Strawberry Lites that feature 3 layers of puff pastry
filled with sliced fresh strawberries and mousse drizzled
with chocolate syrup, their Mud Pies, Fantasy Cakes, and
Seasonal Pies.

In addition to the freshly baked pastries, they also have lots
of sugar free candies, chocolates, cookies and a huge se-
lection of Walden Farms salad dressings, syrups, BBQ
sauces, dessert dips and fruit spreads all with no sugar,
carbs, cholesterol, calories, gluten or fat. They even have
a great sugar free non-fat soft serve yogurt, shakes and
banana splits.

Upland Kabob is a small yet stylish Persian restaurant

that has created a "culinary buzz" ever since they open

their door. The décor is colorful and inviting while the food

is fresh, and oh so yummy! The restaurant features many

of the favorite dishes that make Persian cuisine so pop-

ular like their Dolmah stuffed with a tasty filling of rice,

mint, lentils & yellow split peas, Braised Lamb Shank,

Garlic Chicken, Ghemieh Bodemjan, Grilled Salmon,

and assorted Kabobs. The food is healthy, very tasty and
