the park's Ya'i Heki' Regional Indian Museum.
Each fall, Lake Perris Fairgrounds hosts the Southern
California Fair. Year-round, there's action at the fairgrounds' auto
speedway, motocross and BMX tracks.

Nestled in the San Jacinto Mountains at an elevation of 5,400
feet, in the midst of miles of unspoiled beauty and pristine forests,
is the community of Idyllwild. Downtown Idyllwild boasts an ab-
sence of traffic signals and sidewalks, giving it a rustic feeling that
attracts visitors from all over. Pass the time by browsing the many
art galleries, attending a theatrical production, or listening to a
concert. Idyllwild is also known for its music festivals and cultural
events. The world famous Idyllwild Arts Academy frequently offers
free programs throughout the year. The annual Jazz in the Pines
festival features dozens of jazz artists performing under the pine
trees throughout a weekend at the end of summer.
Come to The Valley and not only learn about California's cul-
tural heritage from its first page when Native Americans arrived,
but also find serenity in its awe-inspiring natural wonder and ex-
